WMP and partners acknowledge Mr. Frank Pogade’s contribution

MoC Frank 1aAfter four years and a half working for WMP, Mr. Frank Pogade has left the Programme as Team Leader of Component 3 and returns to Germany with his family.

At a farewell meeting on 19 June, 2013, Dr. Nguyen Hong Tien – Director General of the Administration of Technical Infrastructure, Ministry of Construction said “We do appreciate Mr. Frank Pogade’s contribution and the results he brought about for WMP and for the wastewater sector. The new Government Decree on Wastewater has incorporated many of his suggestions, especially in decentralized wastewater treatment (DWWT)”. His achievements can also be seen in the comprehensive developments of the wastewater companies supported by WMP. For that, leadership of these companies values his dedication, strong assistance and friendship. Mr. Hanns Bernd Kuchta, GIZ Programme Manager added that with his profound technical expertise and vast experience, Mr. Frank Pogade has always been a resource person who provides sound advice whenever required.

On the 13th June a handover ceremony took place in the GFA office. Mr. Christopher Scharfe will take over his duties as GFA Contract Manager and as Team Leader of Component Three, supporting wastewater management companies at local level.

Taking this opportunity, WMP would like to convey sincere thanks to Mr. Pogade for his valuable contribution over the past years. Colleagues as well as our partners value his commitment, expertise and diligence, and his readiness to help and advise on all issues of wastewater management.

We wish him and his family all the best and a safe return to Germany.
