Created on 10 September 2013 Print Email

The research team has completed the final draft of the reports for the nine provinces on the economic impact of development of wastewater collection and treatment. The reports (i) define the approach and methodology used to assess economic performance of improved wastewater and drainage management in provincial towns and cities, (ii) estimate the economic and financial benefits of improved wastewater and drainage management, and (iii) summarize recommendations relating to the future development of wastewater and drainage management. The reports provide provincial officials and decision-makers concise data and information so they can make the best investment choices for the development of the wastewater and drainage sector. Martin Offermann from Germany is supporting Component Two and reviewing the reports. It is expected that the reports will be presented in the nine provinces in November 2013.
